VIRTUAL DRIFT TRAINING 101

Leverage your passion for drifting into tangible skills with D-corp Virtual Drift Training 101, an unparalleled  virtual course crafted for simulator enthusiasts eager to master the art of drifting. This unique, two-part experience, combines D-corp's real world drift practice with SWL.jp's virtual drift expertise.  Led by expert Leigh Roto, with over 20 years of motorsport and instructional excellence, Leigh has been an avid sim user for over 10 years, developing driving skills on the simulator to later apply on the racetrack.

Course Highlights:

• Thurday Webinar: A comprehensive classroom overview covering the essentials of vehicle dynamics and drifting techniques crafted on the track, and leveraged in your simulator.  We'll also dive into vehicle settings and sim gear setup.
• Saturday SWL.jp Assetto Session: Transitioning to the virtual track, we will load up into SWL.jp's server and discord for questions, guidance, and jams.  Seasoned veterans Nate Kubat (@fake_silvia) and Aaron Leavitt (@sidewayshatch) will join us for tandem sessions and an open chat.

Your Virtual Training Includes:

• Exclusive Instruction: Benefit from Leigh Roto's 20+ years of motorsport and team of expert instructors.
• Comprehensive Learning: Enhance your skills through a blend of classroom learning and Assetto Corsa practice.
• Open Discussion: Get the opportunity to ask Leigh, Nate, Aaron, and the SWL.jp crew questions about motorsport, sim gear, or anything else.

Participants use their own simulator setups, leveraging experience at home with virtual tools to improve your tandems. With limited spots available, D-corp Drift School promises an intimate, focused environment where every question sparks deeper insight, and every lap on the track accelerates your journey from enthusiast to adept drifter.

Presented by SWL.jp
SWL.jp is a group of likeminded enthusiasts passionate about growing sim drifting based on real world drifting history and practice.

REQUIREMENTS:
Students must have a PC and driving simulator setup with a broadband internet connection capable of smooth gameplay in a public server.  A headset with mic will be required to participate in the Saturday Discord chat.  Assetto Corsa with a public car pack and track will be utilized.

A NOTE ABOUT VIRTUAL SETUPS:
While everyone leading this event has loads of driving simulator setup experience, this event is not intended to be a deep dive on the tech gear involved.  We will be happy to provide advice on components, gear, and in-game settings, but the bulk of our knoweldge is on real world drifting technique, setup, and theory, not simulator setup.
