Mission

Motorsports is the perfect example of the saying "it's not the destination, it's the journey". The blissful experience of piloting a sports car exemplifies this. It doesn't matter if it's a local racetrack, a lone loop around the local highway, or a cruise night with friends…"what" doesn't matter. The time behind the wheel matters. Bonding with friends in their machines, making noises, feeling the wind blow through the cockpit, and seeing the sun set over the horizon.  Even though these feelings are found in many areas of life, car enthusiasts know them best.

In order to create these experiences though, part of the journey is the mechanical maintenance, upgrades, and unplanned repairs…on the side of a busy highway after you've just spent 8 hours at the racetrack beating on your pride and joy. This can suck the joy right out of even the most passionate enthusiast. Laying under a car, oil dripping in your face with bruised knuckles throbbing. We know this all too well as the cold damp cement pushes against your back. Combine that with frustration of not having the know-how to maintain the machine, and it kills the enjoyment of an integral part to the motorsport journey. It causes people to quit their journey all together. Whether due to procrastinating on maintenance which leads to vehicle failure, or because some people just hate "working on cars"…eventually people leave motorsport out of a sense of frustration.

Having the right tool for the job extends beyond wrenches, screwdrivers, and hydraulic presses. The tools that can make a massive impact on enjoyable tuning are things like proper work gloves, an organized workspace, and a service manual to guide your tour through the engine bay. These "accessories" can change a frustrating swear fest into a calm rewarding experience. Not to mention your significant other will appreciate you not coming into the house covered in grease in a worse mood then when you left.

This is D-corp's mission:

To fuel the passion for crafting, enjoying, and pushing a personalized machine on a race track.

D-corp can't do this alone. D-corp isn't alone. D-corp is a community. D-corp represents the 'D' driver. A 'D' driver is fueled by a love of motorsport to craft a machine that inspires others, uplifts oneself, and improves driver performance. D-corp will create this vision through 8 connected focus points:

  • Remove barriers of entry to grassroots motorsport
  • Remove barriers of knowledge to vehicle maintenance
  • Create purpose for machine crafting
  • Create motivation for machine piloting
  • Improve driver performance
  • Improve wrenching enjoyment
  • Connect passionate enthusiasts
  • Connect drivers to the race track

This is just the beginning. This is still the paddock. We must push ourselves to get out of pitlane and into the racing traffic.
